Introducing Flippin Out, designs by Alana L.M. Dunn.

This adventure began in 2005 as a way for me to keep my sanity as a stay at home mom. So, I ran down to my local Wal Mart, bought myself a sewing machine, taught myself how to use it, how to sew, and Flippin Out was born.

I started with Flip Flops (hence the name), then belts, bags, and custom monogramming. I set out to create products that reflect my love of the coastal lifestyle and all that it entails. No, I’m not a fisherman, I’ll leave that to my Dad and my brothers. Too many years spent on the boat fishing for tuna for me. I’m a damn good chummer if you know what I mean.

What I am is a beach bum. A cocktail, a grill, good food, friends & family, Buffett blasting….PARADISE This is where I find my inspiration.

Today, I sew my own creations, and I now design for other companies as well. I find the most satisfaction in designing and creating custom orders for clients.

I have fabulous clients who appreciate the time, effort & energy that I put into their pieces. They know that I will ALWAYS go that extra mile to “get it right.” They make me a better designer/artist and I am grateful for their contributions.

I take great pride in the craftsmanship of my products. I hope that you’ll agree that it shows.
